Our journey at Purr Vida Lounge is always filled with unexpected surprises and heartwarming stories, but the recent visit from a group of cat lovers from Arizona has truly touched our hearts.
Three days ago, a lovely group of visitors from Arizona arrived at our lounge while on vacation in Costa Rica. Miss Meow, assuming they were just enjoying a casual visit, didn’t initially explain the adoption process. However, curiosity got the best of one of the women, and she asked about it. Miss Meow explained that our adoption process is included in the entry fee. To our delight, they decided to adopt not one, but three of our beloved cats to bring back to their farm in Arizona!

Due to Southwest Airlines’ policy of not accepting animals during the winter months, they had to find an alternative way to bring the cats home. They chose Pet Lounge, a company specializing in shipping animals internationally. The cats will be shipped to Los Angeles, where our kind visitors will then drive to pick them up. The entire process will cost them around $2,100, showcasing their immense dedication and love for our furry friends.

But the story doesn’t end there. These incredible visitors went above and beyond by donating $200 to Miss Meow, specifically to rescue baby kittens they found at their Airbnb. This generous donation will help us bring these kittens into the lounge, ensuring they receive the care and love they need. Miss Meow plans to go rescue them next Monday on her day off, and we promise to keep you updated on what happens.

One of the women in this remarkable group is a veterinarian, which makes their commitment to our cats even more special. Their decision to adopt Pikachu, Brownie, and Gismo has brought immense joy to everyone at Purr Vida Lounge. Meeting such devoted cat lovers has been an honor, and we are proud to have them as part of our community.
